Welcome to Furneux Pelham!

We hope you'll be very happy here.

To help you to settle in, this 'Welcome Pack' has been prepared to let you know about the things that happen in and around the village, summarised in the 'Furneux Pelham Village Directory' and, in some cases, supported by individual flyers.

A great way to meet others include having a cuppa at the 'Village Community Morning' or at 'The Coffee Shop'. Meet families with young children at 'Pelhams Pre-School' or the 'Mum's & Toddler's Playgroup' or even when paying a visit to the 'Tuck Shop'. Join in with local sporting activities - table tennis, football and yoga.

Discover the history of the village at the 'History Group' and by doing the 'Village Walk'.

The monhtly Parish Magazine contains a wealth of information on what's happening at the Village Hall and what local trades are around. Electronic sources of information include the Community Facebook page and the Parish Council website.

The 'Church' insert gives a comprehensive overview of our beautiful church, St Mary the Virgin.

For the "green-fingered", you can grow your own fruit and veg at the allotments.

You're welcome to get involved at the Parish Council, the lowest tier of local government. Meetings are held in alternate months.

The flyer's included in the 'Welcome Pack' are listed below. Click on the document to view.

If you come across some additional flyers that would be useful to new residents or have suggestions for any that could be created, please contact the Parish Clerk.

In addition, if you wish to receive the complete pack electronically, simply ask the Parish Clerk to email.
